Assistance, not autonomous control
Ask VasKem is a read-only assistant inside the business workspace. It can summarise and explain relevant permitted records and approved company knowledge. It cannot change records, pay invoices or send messages. The public website contains labelled illustrative examples, not real customer data or a live AI endpoint.
Company permission and processing
VasKem platform administrators manage activation per company. An authorised company representative must approve the processing arrangement. Users retain only their existing data permissions; a question does not grant additional access. A specialist external AI processor receives relevant questions, context and records to prepare answers and may process outside South Africa. Check the answer
Answers can be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated. Source links assist checking but do not guarantee every statement is correct. Verify quantities, amounts, names and proposed next steps in the original records. Do not rely on the assistant as professional legal, financial or other regulated advice, or as the sole basis of consequential decisions about people.
Usage, retention and controls
Company daily limits, plan scope and availability apply. Chats are private to the account in the product interface, encrypted in the application database and subject to the displayed retention period. Authorised operational access, backups and processor retention are separate considerations. Do not submit secrets or unapproved sensitive data. Disabling access blocks new requests, but cannot retract information already sent to the processor. Report an unsafe or incorrect response through support.
